Does The Government Care If You Make Money Online?

Why The Government Doesn’t Want You To Make Money Online Legally.

If you are looking to make money online legally then you may be wondering why more people aren’t doing the same. Certainly the numbers of Internet entrepreneurs are increasing all the time but not at the rate that could be expected given the massive opportunity the global Internet market presents. In part this is due to the fact that people are confused and frequently disappointed by the advice and programs offered by the army of ‘get rich quick’ merchants.

In presenting the fallacy that it is ‘easy’ to make money online legally and that you’ll become an overnight success with little or no effort, people often approach Internet marketing with unrealistic expectations. Consequently they soon become disillusioned with the concept and give up. This, in turn perpetuates the myth that making money online legally via Internet marketing is nothing but a pipe dream for desperate people who can’t make a decent living in the so called ‘real’ world.

So let’s be clear from the start, no body in all honesty can say it is ‘easy’ to make money online legally. If you’re just starting out then there’s a lot to learn. From keyword research, through product development, search engine optimization and copy writing to list building and joint ventures. You will need to get an understanding of many different subjects in order to make money online legally and it will take time and effort on your part.

You’ll have to work hard at it and this probably won’t be helped by nearly everybody else telling you that you are wasting your time. Most of you will have great difficulty justifying the hours of research and planning you’ll need to put in initially. I know that my relationship came under real strain when I first started out. However that soon changed when the money started rolling in and ever since then I’ve been able to end arguments with a simple ‘you don’t doubt me do you?’. I know I shouldn’t use it really. But Hey! I think I’ve earned the right.

Having said that it’s not easy to successfully make money online legally nor do you need to be Einstein to figure it out. Most, if not all of the techniques you will need to undrstand in order to do well can be learned by practically anybody. The average man and woman can, with a little application, familiarise themselves with the strategies required to deliver themselves a significant improvement in both income and lifestyle. In this respect Internet marketing offers more people a greater opportunity for self improvement and social mobility than ever before.

Given the unbelievable projected growth of the international Internet market, as Asia and the Indian sub continent come online, you would have thought that government and bodies of authority would be keen to promote the individuals ability to make money online legally. This would seem especially important at a time when traditional markets and and the normal flow of finance have come under mounting pressure. Every one is feeling the squeeze and Internet marketing offers a real ray of hope.

Odd then that governments have done little to encourage people to make money online legally. At a time when you would think government would be supporting individuals efforts to improve their commercial productivity they seem far more concerned with producing legislation, such as the email monitoring bill in the UK, aimed at curtailing rather than promoting peoples online freedoms.

Begging the question, why?

We have just witnessed the greatest economic upheaval since the industrial revolution. The virtual collapse of the international money markets and the drying up of credit for traditional big business and small businesses alike will have a profound effect on all of us over the next few years at least.

The staggering investment by the people of the western democracies to prop up their failing financial systems has been necessary or all of us would have watched our money become practically worthless. Equally, however, there can be no doubt that every effort has been made to maintain the financial status quo. We, the people have, in effect, given our hard earned money to bankers and international financiers in order to maintain a financial and social system that ensures the rich stay rich and the poor receive a pitifully small proportion national wealth.

Now consider this. If we, as individuals, start to make money online legally in ever increasing numbers then there is going to be a genuine redistribution of wealth. Internet marketing and sole trader online business do not require massive investment (little or no borrowing) to start up. Neither do they require credit to operate yet have the potential to generate considerable wealth for the owner. Internet marketing is already creating more millionaires every year than any other industry ever before and they don’t need the patronage of the establishment to succeed.

1194332549mecOUs Does The Government Care If You Make Money Online? The people who have managed to make money online legally have done so without any need for bank support. Not only that but they come from all walks of life, all social and educational backgrounds. They generally do not belong to the existing economic elite, are not privileged in any way, and are distributing their independent wealth within a sector of the economy previously lacking investment and support.

Given that this is happening at a time when the established holders of power are watching their wealth and influence come under increasing pressure it is perhaps not surprising that the government doesn’t want you to make money online legally.

Dollar Store Finds For Decorating On A Budget

Owning an online dollar store can be just as much fun as owning your own business in town. However internet marketing can be fun and much easier than becoming a slave to your brick and mortar store in town. Think of the tremendous savings of time and money if you work at home with your own online dollar store.

Decorating with Thrift Store Finds

Creating a classy, stylish home doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Thrift and second hand stores provide a source for quality, elegant items if you know what you are looking for, stick to your style and make wise decisions.

271227 33 Dollar Store Finds For Decorating On A Budget

Finding really great, quality items at thrift or consignment stores, yard sales or swap meets takes time. But it’s well worth the foot work you will do to score great items that would cost you a fortune otherwise and can take your home beyond the "basics", turning it in to something really fabulous!

The trick to great finds is to go often. Frequent your favorites at least every two weeks (giving them time to get more merchandise in stock). The early bird really does catch the worm in this case because unique or quality items are snatched up quickly. When I am in search of a particular item, I tend to go every week on Mondays. This is typically the day when new merchandise is set out after the weekend rush.

What you are looking for are items in your decorating style that have quality construction (even if you need to turn a screw, replace a hinge or do a bit of paint or repair). Decide what your room needs, make a list that you keep with you when perusing these wonderful treasure shops to keep you from purchasing things you really don’t need.

Fully examine the item then ask yourself what you will have to do to get it in shape. Recover it? Paint it? Fix it? And are you willing to do it.

Remember that these types of outlets are fabulous for finding accessories as well!

I used to see beautiful chaise lounge chairs in romantic old movies and found them to be so sophisticated and classy. I always dreamed of having one. But check out the prices of a new one! But one day, while roaming the aisles of our local swap meet, a woman was selling a rather shabby looking model for a mere $35.00. I grabbed it without even a thought of dickering the price. Ones similar to it retail at over $700.00 . Knowing I could re-cover it, I hauled it home with great pride!

Check out do it yourself home decorating websites for step by step instructions on how to recover furniture. It’s really quite easy.
A very stylish occasional table cost me only $20.00 at an out of the way antique store. With high gloss black paint and a stenciled design in gold, the table now graces a guest bedroom and commands raves from visiting overnight guests.

Perfectly "Traditional" in styling and in great shape, I ran across a marble base table lamp with Victorian iron scroll work and all I had to do was to redo the gold finish on the metal with a antiquing kit from the paint store. $10.00 is all I paid for it. A $12.00 replacement shade completed this now treasured piece.

I nearly threw myself through the windshield when I slammed on the brakes in front of a yard sale that featured an exquisite, hand carved occasional chair. $40.00 later (they wanted much more!), I was laying it gently in the back seat and screaming home to place it in my living room. I’ve since found the perfect material in which to create a padded seat on it. This chair looks so expensive that visitors to my home comment about what a fortune I must have paid for it.

By now you are beginning to see that thrift store and yard sale finds don’t have to mean that you are decorating your home with "junk". If you make good choices, use a bit of common sense and hone your "fix it" skills, you can have a very classy home on a dime.

For many wood items such as chairs and tables, a simple coat of paint, an antique finish and a stencil can create an elegant, one of a kind piece for your home.

I found a luscious oval coffee table at a thrift store that is made of very heavy wood (it took everything I had just to get it in the truck all by myself!). But I couldn’t resist with its oval top and super quality, let alone the shocking price tag of just $5.00. Why was it $5.00? Because it had the most ugly, bright blue paint on it! A can of orange gel paint stripper later, the application of one of the designs from my stencil collection done with gold acrylic paint made it fabulous!

Now the beauty of the wood shows through and is our coffee table in our "soon to retire to" home in Idaho.

Enjoy your searches….turn them in to a fun treasure hunt, go often, be wise in your choices and you too can have beautiful furnishings on a budget.

Clothing Store Secrets

To find work at home opportunities look no further than the internet. Internet marketing offers so many people the opportunity to make money online. If you are not sure if you would like to own your own business do some research and talk to others tha work at home about how they do it.

3 Best-Kept Clothing Store Secrets in Paris

Oh mon Dieu! Not all of us visiting Paris have the wherewithal to spend $1000 on this irresistible couture blouse, or the all-time favorite little black dress. Let us be realistic: going on a shopping spree in Paris can be hard on our finance. Fashionistas of the world, let’s sin no more, and shop smartly from now on!

181318 2med Clothing Store Secrets

Expensive? A matter of area, mostly

Those of you who visited Paris already know that from a shopper’s perspective, the city is divided in broad sections where stores of the same trade tend to congregate. A mosaic of many colors, tastes, and price ranges.

Say, you are on the Boulevard Saint Germain, in the upper part of the Saint Germain des Prs district. Designer clothing stores, sidewalk cafs and restaurants abound in this area. Draw nearer the river Seine and your footsteps lead you where the art galleries cluster together. Walk a bit to the east, towards rue de Buci, the clothing stores become less expensive.

From Saint-Germain, walk up the Rue de Rennes, towards the Montparnasse area. You’ll be crossing the Rue Du Four where even more expensive clothiers line up the facades. But continue on to the Saint Sulpice metro station, around which many clothing stores offer cheaper garments and accessories.

Sales season in Paris

In another area of the city, not too far from the old Opera house, the Boulevard Haussmann became the homestead of the department stores over a century ago. The Printemps store was built there in 1865, followed closely by the Galeries Lafayette, in 1893. Department stores are not unlike Ali Baba’s treasure cave: clothes, shoes, jewelry, watches, accessories, perfumes spread on a five-story high, gigantic floor space.

Department stores offer a very convenient way of shopping for fashion: thousands of upscale items can be found over acres of floor space. This includes apparel, accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, watches, shoes, and other goodies. A great selection, but bargains are far and between except during the sales seasons.

The latter are a tightly regulated business in France. There are two sales seasons, winter and summer. Their starting dates are a matter of administrative decrees, and each of the two seasons last six weeks only. The Parisian winter sales season starts at the end of January, the summer one begins in late June.

Designer depot bargains

But outside the sales seasons, shoppers looking for bargain-basement prices and irresistible clearances must look elsewhere. It is my experience that the best bargain prices on clothing offered in Paris are found at designer depots.

Though it has become a brand name in North America, a designer depot is in fact a form of commerce. People like you and me bring in clothes we don’t want to wear anymore, and get a little money from the shop owner who will resell our garments for a little more money to other people.

I can hear your blas comments: "Tcha! Consignment stores! Thrift shops!…" Well, in Paris, designer depots aren’t exactly your regular Salvation Army-type stores. Not at all.

Parisian designer depots are usually owned and managed by ladies with a flair for fashion. A number of them have a professional experience in the fashion industry, and if invited to do so, most of them can tell you right away which dress fits you well…. and which skirt makes you look like you dressed with a potato bag.

In ‘designer depot", there is the magic word ‘designer’. Parisian designer depots offer designer and couture clothes at deep, deep, deep discounts. And mind you, clothes in quasi perfect condition. Clothes worn only once. Well, maybe twice.

If you come to them with your regular hoodies, or your last season tennis shoes, or your mall-shopped polo shirt for that matter, do not expect to be welcomed. Expect rejection with a disapproving stare instead.

That’s the address, silly!

Now not all designer depots were created equal, and where you go shopping for practically-perfect-in-every-way designer clothes is the true measure of your inside knowledge of the city.

I would like to recommend you three ‘petites adresses’ [the French for 'best-kept-secret places'] I selected amongst a host of others.

For those of you, ladies, who like the classic look, ‘Priscilla’ is the shop for you. Priscilla is lady who owns the place. She reveres such signature names as Yves Saint Laurent, Max Mara, Kenzo, Chistian Dior, and Sonya Rykiel. Her prices range from 60 for a skirt, to 75 for a jacket, to 130 for a lady’s suit. Priscilla advises you to rummage around, and come to her place with an open mind. The shop is located at 4 rue Mouton- Duvernet, in the 14 th district. The nearest metro station is Mouton-Duvernet. Its opening hours are between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Monday, and between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm from Tuesday to Saturday with a one-hour break at 1:30 pm.

My next address, ‘Le Jupon Rouge’, is situated at 9 rue de Rochechouart in the 9th district. The owner, Tania, describes here designer depot as "colorful, ethnic but not hippie, and certainly not classical in style". Tania offers a selection of up and coming French designers such as Bali Barret (a fencing-style vest for 45, cashmere blend cardigans for 45 to 100) and Vanessa Bruno (wool jackets, 90). She also carries more established signatures such as Agns B (her signature black jacket is offered at 50), and vintage Ungaro blouses for 45. Ladies looking for shoes can fall for pairs of Stephane Kelian low-cut Cuban boots (100), Repetto ballerina shoes (40), or vintage low-heel horse-riding boots (40-70). Tania opens her doors from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm with a one-hour lunch break at 1:30 pm.

In a totally different style, Griff-Troc is the designer depot you need to lose yourself into when you want to go chic-chic-chic. The owner, Beatrice, chose to specialize in perennial, classic basics in perfect condition. Chic has a heftier price tag, of course, but on the upside Griff-Troc offers brand names for 15-30% of boutique prices. On the shelves at the time I wrote this article, Beatrice had a Chanel suit for 1000 (vs. 5000 at Chanel’s), a brand-new Chloe bag for 800 (instead of 1200), several astounding evening dresses priced between 1200 and 1500 (Chloe, Dior, D&G, Valentino), and Herms silk scarfs on offer for only 150. She maintains a full selection of bags, jewels, and fragrances. Chic classic never dies, who cares about whether your Chanel suit is this season’s or not? The busy boutique is located in the posh section of the 17 th district, at 119 Boulevard Malesherbes. The nearest metro stations are Villiers and Monceau. Its opening hours are between 10:30 am and 7:00 pm, from Monday to Saturday.

More shopping tips to come

I will come back to you with other names and addresses in future articles on this topic. I personally enjoy shopping these boutiques, and based on the number of smartly dressed women I spot there, I am not alone in the belief that such bargains cannot be let pass. Till then, I salute all unrepentant fashion shoppers!

Work – At – Home Jobs?

There are so many work at home jobs available on the internet today. Finding the right internet marketing business for yourself is made easier with a little research. If you want to make money online today the opportunities are almost limitless so be careful to choose one that is a good fit for you.

Work – At – Home Jobs Between Thoughts And Reality…

This article will be discussing those common thoughts or beliefs people normally associate with Work-At-Home jobs and analyzing the facts about those beliefs.

1. ‘You must have experience in sales in order to build a successful internet business’.

data entry jobs at home 1 Work At Home Jobs? The fact of the matter is that work at home concept brings in different opportunities of all types which the majority of require selling. Although having previous sales experience and being able to use the different selling techniques would greatly help you to build up your online business, it is not really a criteria to guarantee future online business success. Provided, there are a lot of online jobs that could be operated & managed from home without involving the selling aspect such as: website development, consultation, data entry & Freelance writing.

2. ‘You can not work at home if you are surrounded by children’.

There is no doubt that working in an area surrounded by children will be distracting anyway, especially that children are always in continues move and could create a lot of noise and be demanding. But making yourself believe that you will not be able to work in their presence is not acceptable.

There are some tips though that will help you to deal with this problem:

A. Try to set your office in a quite area to avoid noise and distraction. At the same time make sure that you are able to monitor children’s activities.

B. Put a schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This way, you will be able to tune to your family needs as well as attend to your customers’ requirements.

C. Ask for help from your spouse/neighbors if needed.

3. ‘People who work from home become millionaires overnight’.

work at home interruptions Work At Home Jobs?Working at home is similar to any other business; as it would also require dedicating a good amount of time as well as a lot of efforts to bring in sufficient income. Therefore, it’d be wise to ignore all the statements that promise you of getting rich quickly because in reality they are not other than fault claims.

4. ‘Work At Home jobs are scams & no money can be earned from the internet’.

A recent study has shown that the average income that someone generates by working at home could reach $63000 per year which really means that the money is there and all you have to do is to seek the good opportunity and find out what would attract other people to your business so that you can start making money.

Always remember that the most important thing while deciding on a home business is to choose something that you would enjoy doing to be successful at it in the future.

5. ‘Work At Home opportunities are not real’.

First of all, we need to define the meaning of ‘Work’…
Work is any kind of commercial or industrial activity regardless it is a shop or factory or even home business etc… in other words, the term ‘Work’ can not be defined based on the amount of money that business people make or the place where the business itself is being operated.

6. ‘Work At Home schemes don’t require any sort of investment’.

This is partially true as there are some work at home jobs that could be started without investing money like using your computer or phone initially while getting started, however, this will ultimately require big money and time investment as well. E.g. paying off bills, upgrading your system to newer version etc…

7. ‘If you are at home then you simply do not work’.

I can assure that those who manage their business from home would feel the impact of this statement in a way or another.
Anyone who works at home can tell you that this is not true. At the same time, that does not mean that these people have control over unexpected situations. In other words, sudden visits or phone calls of family members and friends for instance.

If you feel that such things disturb your work, you should reorganize everything and decide on your daily working hours then firmly inform everybody about the same. Also try to use a different phone number for your business calls and ensure that you only use it for your business contacts. In case you receive a personal call during your business hours; apologize and tell them that you will call later.

To conclude, you need to understand that time worth money and act accordingly. Once you start thinking and acting that way regarding your home business, the rest will follow suit.
