All the way home — At first we worked at home a few days a week and a couple of days at the company’s office for a few years.

It was buck rush hour traffic to work and simply stroll over to the desk in our bedroom or home office. Freedom from the road did it! We went all the way home to TeleCommuting in 1996.

Home is everywhere — From home we did our design work for companies locally, out of state and even in England and Germany.

Who wouldn’t love it? — We did and figured so many others would, so we started the Telecommuting Jobs website in 1996.

We were right. Thousands loving the prospect of no commute flocked to our site to view the work at home jobs we posted.

Wow! — Was it th beginning of a Work at Home Workforce? Would it mean thousands of cars off the road, saving oil and pollution?

Others saw it differently — Unfortunately ‘ripe for the picking’ was what others saw the growing demand to work at home. An explosion of scam jobs and ads hit the web promoting quick fortunes without leaving home.

Real jobs or nothing — We had a lot more work on our hands providing our viewers with scam-free jobs. We had to screen all jobs being posted with the same scrutiny we screened our own jobs.

How we got hired to work at home — We passed on all the Job Getting techniques we learned to help land our own jobs through the years. How we wrote our job applications to impress employers on our ability to do the job from home. How we put together our online TeleCommuter Office to show employers we were equipped to do the job. How we proved to employers our ability to collaborate with office staff from anywhere.

Telecommuting Jobs — Tjobs.com was built from everything we learned in our 15 years as working TeleCommuters…to give our viewers successful,
long term work at home jobs, too. It earned us the only Better Business Bureau A+Rating for a Work at Home job site.
